“No”vember Challenge

Is it just me, or has this year zipped by in a flash? I can’t believe we are already into November! That being said, I have decided to challenge myself, like some of my fellow Fruitful Fellowship friends, to say “No” to something for the month of November. For me, I have decided to say NO to excuses.

Since becoming a mom, it’s been easy coming up with excuses not to do things. Don’t get me wrong, there are days when my laundry pile stands higher than myself and my sink is full of dirty dishes, and I choose to spend my time playing with my boys or drink a cup of tea simply because I am in need some ME time. But then there are other days when I know I can be more productive. When I have the energy and time to make stuff happen, but I choose to do other things that are a little less productive.

It’s not to say that checking email or updating Facebook is a waste of time, but there are moments, for example, when I complain about waking up early with my boys. But had I not been pinned (pun intended!) to pinterest until 3am in the morning the night befofe, maybe, just maybe!, waking up with the boys would be a bit little easier. Not to mention, they’d wake up to a happy and refreshed mommy and not “noooo, it’s 7 already and I am compleyely exhausted (but full of pinterest inspiration)” mommy 🙂

So, here’s to an awesome “no excuses” November!

Have a wonderful weekend!
