TheBoy started preschool last week and I am glad to say that he’s doing well! It hasn’t been easy (he still cries when I drop him off) but this morning he waved and tried to smile as I left. Progress!
On his first day last week, I made a preschool chalkboard sign for him to hold. In total it cost me under $10. I bought my materials from Michaels (using a 40% off coupon). You can also purchase canvases at Dollarama now 🙂
1 canvas board $1.50
Chalkboard paint (1 bottle) $4
1 paintbrush $1
1. Take your chalkboard paint and using your paint brush, cover the canvas completely going in one direction.
2. Let the paint dry for at least 1 hour.
3. Using the chalkboard paint again, cover the canvas completely going in the other direction.
4. Let the canvas dry for 24 hours before using it.
In the meantime, LittlePeanut had fun “painting” of his own 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend,
