Love letter

Shockingly, it’s 8am on a Saturday morning and I’m the only one awake (poor Josiah was up with the two oldest in the wee hours).
I’m sitting in my living room, feet up, hot chocolate in hand, watching the sunlight stream through my window and thinking about the way God loves me. How he knows me, deeply knows me. Which means he knows everything about me. The ugly, dark sin in me. And yet, he loves me. Loves me completely and unwaveringly. A love that I can only partially comprehend.
Most days I walk around not thinking about His love and then there are moments when it hits me and I’m humbled, in awe and often want to bawl my eyes out. This moment happened again yesterday, in my minivan, surrounded by groceries and three beautiful wild ones. I was listening to the song I know you by Bellarive and was delivered this beautiful love letter from God.
I would love for you to try sneak away somewhere for a few minutes and listen to this song. I pray that the Father uses it to encourage you today and bring you closer to Him.

Here are the lyrics, while you listen.

Dry your eyes
I see you
Come inside the doorway
Don’t you hide, My child
Place your hand in Mine

I know, I know you
I know you know I love you
I know, I know you
My grace invites you
Home

Life nor death will keep you
You don’t have to fear
Nothing comes between us
In the end you’re Mine
You’ll be just fine
You’re Mine
In the end you’re Mine

I know, I know you
I know you know I love you
I know, I know you
(You know me, yes, You know me)
My grace invites you
(Your grace, it invites me)

So come home.

In Him, Christie
