I am amazed at just how much you have grown up. Three years ago, your daddy and I met you one sunny morning as a 5lb11oz bundle of pure awesomeness. We didn’t have the faintest idea of what was in store for us but you made our journey into parenthood exciting and fun, but sometimes downright nerve wracking (a 104.5 degree fever can so that to you!).
At first, I didn’t know what being a stay at home mom looked like but I have loved every second of being at home with you (and LittlePeanut). From our daily dance parties to the silly faces you like to make, your quick humor and quirky personality crack me up. And boy are you a talker. You love to talk, talk, talk. A quality I am sure you received from me.
Lately, you enjoy watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates as well as doing puzzles. You’re actually quite good at putting them together without much help from me. You eat cherry tomatoes and black olives like no tomorrow and you love riding your new bicycle (with training wheels). You are fascinated with bubbles, love playing on the piano and are pretty talented at dribbling a soccer ball.
So today, on your third birthday, I want to remind you of how loved you are. By everyone in the family and many many more. You are smart, caring, goofy and so full of life! I can only imagine what the future holds for you my dear, and it looks bright as ever. Never forget how loved you are by God, and by both your daddy and I.
My prayer for you is that you would grow in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with man, so that those who encounter you will know that they have seen Christ’s love.
I love you with all my heart,
