The kiddos requested granola bars yesterday and we didn’t have any, so I whipped up these yummy (and pretty healthy) creations.
As you may know by now, I’m more of ‘by sight’ cook/baker and like to experiment when I can, so these measurements are estimates.
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
2 cups oats
Tablespoon flax seeds
Tablespoon sunflower seeds
Handful semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat the PB and honey on the stove in a pot. Then mix in remaining ingredients. Stir until blended. Empty into square baking dish (I used glass). Bake for 8-10min at 350F.
