Last week we had a really tough trial to face.
Our beloved sons had to be taken away to hospital on an air ambulance. And we couldn’t go too. We had to watch them leave while waiting on a regular flight to take us to join them.
It was the hardest thing I have faced as a mother.
But it has brought me to a place where I have looked at how faithful God is. How He took care of my family. How He calmed me when I was hysterical.
Some good friends sent me messages telling me they were praying , reminding me of God’s promises to us
fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to god. And the peace of god, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4v6-7
This post is just to share how a horrible event should be used to in turn make our faith grow, and help us rededicate ourselves to God’s purposes.
