Crescent Creations. Part 1


I love to make things with crescent dough. It’s quick, delicious and so versatile! So I thought I would start posting about some of my crescent creations. Today is part one and it involves breakfast ideas! 🙂

Christie

1. Breakfast.

Wrapped Omelette.

open crescent triangles and lay them on a tinfoiled/parchment papered tray like a star

cook a big omelette to your liking (mine usually include eggs, ham, peppers, cheese and onion with seasoning)

place cooked omelette inside of the star and fold up crescent sides

bake at 375F for about 15 mins (until brown).

cut into segments like a pie and eat! (with ketchup if you’re like me)

2. Second breakfast (if you’re a hobbit or wish you were).

Mini Cinnamon buns.

take half of the dough and lay it flat

butter it

sprinkle on good amounts of cinnamon and brown sugar

roll it up tightly

cut

place mini baking cups in mini muffin pan

place cut up sections in pan and bake at 375F for approx. 10 mins

make or buy icing and pour over cinnamon buns
