Belly Monster

Well you might have noticed that I’ve been a bit inactive lately. This is mostly due to the fact that I’ve been curled up on my couch with non stop nausea for about 3 weeks now. No fun. However the reason for the nausea is a happy one and therefor I’m not too bummed. Yes indeed my family is about to go from a happy 3 to a busy 4. From a trio to a clan, if you will. Things are still quite early on as I’m only around 9 weeks along, however I don’t believe in keeping happy news a secret. Our God has blessed us with a new life to take care of and it will be apart of our family however long He chooses to keep our little one on this earth. For now Belly Monster is about the size of an olive and nestled quite nicely behind a little growing bump.

We tried for what seemed like a very long time for this pregnancy, but I  know that 8 months is nothing compared to what some people go through. On month 8, we decided to stop trying and let the Lord control when our next little blessing would come, and whether it would be by conception or adoption. So imagine our surprise when that month we took a test and a little blue plus sign showed up! It sure was an eye opener that He is in control! I sure do love that about Him, wouldn’t you agree? 🙂

So for now, I’m going to go eat my lunch. It won’t be fancy or even homemade for that matter, so don’t get too excited. I eat what Belly Monster decides I can without running to the toilet immediately after, and the choices are few.
